The Center for Pursuit, a private, non-profit corporation,
is a United Way agency which promotes the pursuit of choice, growth, and
independence for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities,
autism, or similar conditions. All
adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, or similar
conditions will realize their potential in a world in which they are fully
integrated. Each contribution to The
Center helps toward the goal of ensuring that every person is given the
opportunity to live his or her best life having the opportunity to contribute
to their community.
The 38th Annual HBA John J. Eikenburg Law Week Fun Run is
set for Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Sam Houston Park Downtown. One hundred percent of the entry fee for the
John J. Eikenburg Law Week Fun Run is contributed directly to The Center for
Pursuit and helps support a variety of programs designed to provide education,
job training, socialization, community living, and health care for people with
intellectual disabilities.
