Lauren Heyde earned her undergraduate degree from University of Houston, cum laude, with a major in Sociology. After graduation, she attended South Texas College of Law where she graduated magna cum laude.
While in law school, Lauren
clerked for The Beacon as a law clerk assisting Houston’s homeless and indigent
population. She later joined Jenkins & Kamin as a law clerk and, after getting
licensed by the State Bar of Texas, became an associate attorney with the firm.
Lauren and her husband live in
West Houston with their daughter, their rescue dog, Petey, and Ziggy, the cat.
